Ms. Kessler is an exploration geologist with a demonstrated record of successful project development and management in the Mid-Continent region of the US. Ms. Kessler spent the first eight years of her career with two large public companies, ConocoPhillips and SM Energy, actively worked Gulf of Mexico, West African, and Mid-Continent U.S. exploration projects.
Ms. Kessler has spent the past decade working for private equity sponsored companies developing acquisition and exploration projects. Through her ability to explore and exploit, Ms. Kessler has developed several successful exploration and development targets including a South Central Oklahoma Woodford project which sold for $525 million in 2011 and a Western Arkoma Basin Woodford play which was divested in 2015 as a Joint Venture project forecasted to deploy $700 million in development capital.
Ms. Kessler is adept at managing several facets of geologic exploration including data exploitation, vintage & modern log interpretation, whole & cutting core analysis and detailed 2D & 3D seismic interpretation. In addition to a proven ability in Mid-Continent exploration, she was responsible for the successful project development and geologic operations management for development programs of multiple projects through her career.
Ms. Kessler is also practiced in efficient acquisition analysis. She has a B.S. in Environmental Geology and an M.S. in Geology, both from the University of Oklahoma. Ms. Kessler serves on the Board of Visitors for the Mewbourne College of Earth & Energy at the University of Oklahoma. Through this role, she acts in an advisory capacity, providing an external perspective to the college. She is a member of both the Tulsa and Oklahoma City Geological Societies. Ms. Kessler is a licensed professional geologist with the state of Texas. She is an active volunteer in earth science education in the public schools in the Tulsa area.
