Prior to joining Canyon Creek Energy, LLC, Mr. Jacobs worked for Eagle Energy Exploration, a Riverstone Holdings LLC capitalized oil and gas company. At Eagle he served as the Vice President of Reservoir Engineering and assisted in acquisitions valued at over $225MM. His primary responsibilities were reservoir exploration & characterization, acquisition evaluation, asset development, and reserve estimation.

From 2002–2013 he held various positions at Ceja Corporation, a privately held oil and gas exploration company where Mr. Jacobs spearheaded well planning, reservoir evaluation, production optimization, and property appraisal. Mr. Jacobs has extensive experience working several oil and gas basins throughout the United Sates and has experience in all disciplines of Petroleum Engineering.

Mr. Jacobs received a B.A. degree in Economics from Colgate University and a B.S. degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Tulsa.
